All Three ULTRA4 4400 Broncos Finish the King of Hammers Event

In an effort to promote the Bronco in the world of off-road racing, Ford introduced a unique, custom-built racing version designed to participate in the famous King of Hammers event. With its all-star team of drivers, Ford entered the ULTRA4 4400 unlimited class.

The unlimited class is the most extreme category in the entire event, comprised of completely custom-built vehicles with bodies that barely resemble production vehicles. The race rules allow fully custom-built chassis, massive off-road tires, special suspensions, long-travel shocks, and other unique components. Apart from all that custom hardware, Ford equipped their ULTRA4 4400 Unlimited Broncos with a special race engines and transmissions. 

After the grueling race was held on February 6, Ford proudly announced that all three Broncos finished the race and that Vaughn Gittin Jr. and two-time King of the Hammers winner Loren Healy, plus three-time Hammers winner Jason Scherer have managed to finish 5th, 9th, and 13th.

We believe that Ford has to be satisfied with the results, since they proved the Bronco race car's dependability and showed that Ford is serious about winning such events. We can surely say that it is just a matter of months before Bronco racing teams score a big win on a similar event.

The 2021 Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport Will Be Offered in Argentina

When Ford first announced the revival of Bronco as a model, initial reports stated that it would only be offered on the North American market. However, as we are getting close to the release date for the two and four-door Bronco model, we are happy to report that Ford is considering selling the Bronco and Bronco Sport in several other markets as well.

Apart from the domestic (US and Canadian) market and Mexico, Ford's Middle East site has announced that the Bronco tandem will be arriving there in the Summer of 2021.

At the same time, Australian buyers are demanding a right-hand-drive version and lots of European customers have shown interest in this reborn American icon. But before the Bronco arrives there, Ford presented this model for the Argentinian market in early February, with the first cars planned for delivery some time between late Spring and early Summer.

At the moment, Ford has several assembly plants in that part of South America that are getting ready for production of the new Ranger, which will share a lot of its chassis architecture with the 2021 Bronco. Does this mean that we can see South American Bronco in the near future? Probably. However, due to high demand and parts supply problems, which delayed the production of 2021 Bronco, we can't expect that this will happen anytime soon.

2021 Ford Bronco VIN #001 Is Set to Auction in March

If you're looking for an easy (but extremely expensive) way to get your hands on the brand new 2021 Bronco without waiting in line to get one, mark March 20 to 27, 2021 on your calendar. The famous Barrett-Jackson auction will be held in Scottsdale, Arizona, during that time, and Ford is sending two exceptional cars to be auctioned for charity.

The 2021 Ford Bronco and 2021 Ford Mustang Mach I, both with VIN numbers #001, will be offered for sale to the highest bidder. All the proceeds from the sale of these two fantastic vehicles will go to the National Forest Foundation, Outward Bound, and The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

So, if you want to skip the line and park 2021 Bronco in your garage and help a good cause, get your checkbook ready and head to the Barrett-Jackson auction this Spring in Arizona.
