Bronco Sport Will Also Get A Slight Price Increase For 2022
While the 2022 Bronco Sport won't be significantly different from the 2021 model, it will be a tiny bit more expensive. The base 2022 Bronco Sport will get a slight $50 increase over the outgoing model, but higher trim levels will cost up to $600 more than before.
A price increase of this magnitude is common in the industry, and each model year does tend to see a slight bump in MSRP, due to various production expenses, such as fluctuations in the prices of raw materials and components.
Kevin Bacon Drives A Bronco!
Kevin Bacon is one of Hollywood’s most recognizable faces, with a body of work that literally spans decades. On top of this, he's also a big fan of the Ford Bronco and recently purchased a classic Bronco in stripped-down form that he'll use for off-roading and enjoying nature.
So it was just a matter of time before Kevin Bacon got acquainted with the new 2021 Bronco and had the chance to compare the differences and similarities between the two generations. And who would be better qualified to show him the latest version of the Bronco than Jay Leno?
Here's a very entertaining episode of Jay Leno's Garage, featuring the new Bronco and Mr. Bacon.
2022 Bronco Everglades Will Be Limited Edition Model
We know that the Bronco Everglades will debut sometime in 2022, and will be available as a four-door model only. We also know that it will feature a few unique colors, as well as likely a slightly higher price. However, we just recently found out two more important pieces of information about this mysterious Bronco.
One is that it will be a limited production vehicle, and the second is that it will come with a factory-installed winch and snorkel. This suggests that the Everglades will be another off-road dedicated trim level that will be well- equipped to navigate through deep water, which is very much in keeping with its specially-derived name.
No doubt that Ford wanted to create something that could navigate the world-famous Florida swamp without being affected by deep water and mud.
Ford Products, Including the Bronco, Dominate “Made In America” Index
“Made In America” is an annual competition organized by automotive professionals and companies based in the US that gives proper recognition and accolades to those automotive models featuring the highest percentage of American-made components or parts.
As you probably already know, modern cars are built from components provided by suppliers worldwide, and “Made In America” celebrates vehicles made as locally as possible from domestically-sourced parts. This year, Ford Mustang takes the top spot, with a construction that features almost 89% locally produced parts, closely followed by Corvette Stingray and Tesla Model S. Ford Bronco comes in at #4, with 80% of American parts installed.
